August 23, 2025: Ten Stars with a wow. If you require dental care in either Lacey, Washington, or University Place, Tacoma, Washington, please consider Dr. Crystal Vargas and her amazing staff to provide the care you and your family need. Follow-up posted today, 08-26-2025 at bottom of review. Not only will you receive excellent, top-of-the-line care, but both of Dr. Vargas's Modern Dentistry offices are fun, exciting, modern, aesthetically pleasing, and their soundtracks over the speakers are also so much fun and energetic. Thank you, Dr. Vargas and Staff. With my deepest respect and appreciation, thank you. This is my first (taken less than 48 hours after my extraction surgery and immediate dentures) photo in years where I am looking forward and actually facing the camera and smiling, not a side photos with a closed grin, or a closed mouth smile to hide my severe dental loss : ) My extraction/immediate denture surgery was completed by around 10:00 am. I never expected to be feeling this much better this quickly. The bleeding has subsided, and the pain is now minimal and very manageable. I was expecting the suction effect of my temporary dentures to take a week at the very least, but to my surprise, it is already happening. I am not only thrilled but also amazed at how quickly things are progressing, and I have Dr. Vargas (and her amazing staff) to thank. Dr. Vargas will do everything in her power to ensure her patients are as comfortable and experience as little pain as humanly possible, and that we experience a quick recovery. I’ve never been to a dental office that offers patients a blanket to cuddle with during their dental procedure, but Dr. Vargas did, and it was a large, warm, soft, comfortable blanket at that. Dr. Vargas is to dentistry and dental surgery what Bob Ross is to landscape painting. It’s one thing to be educated and have the skills needed to provide the care, but when the education and skills come with passion and compassion, it becomes an art, and Dr. Vargas is an artist. I do understand that I still have months of healing and multiple realignments before I have fully functional and permanent dentures, but because of the passion Dr. Vargas has for providing life-altering care, I am confident that the next few months of healing will be very manageable. What Dr. Vargas did for me today is going to allow me to return to work and become a productive member of society again, which will also help me in my journey towards better mental health and even closure from decades of past abuse. Follow-up. Aug 26, 2025. I just returned from a follow-up appointment with Dr. Vargas, and I could not stop thanking her and the staff. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that in 3 days after such a major dental procedure, I would be feeling this great and healing as quickly as I am. Some doctors have more than just the education and the skills, they have a God given gift, and Dr. Vargas is one of them. My surgery was Saturday morning, and by Saturday evening, I was fixing my makeup and taking new photos as if I had just come from the beach, NOT come from major dental surgery. By Sunday, the bleeding had all but completely stopped, the swelling was already subsiding, my temporary dentures were already starting to feel comfortable, and at my checkup today, I learned that there are no issues whatsoever. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that in just a few short days I would be feeling this well, let alone regaining the confidence I've lost over the years due to such severe dental loss. Thank you, Dr. Vargas and staff. I know the average person will not read such a long review, but hopefully those in the Lacey, Olympia, or Tacoma area who are looking for dental care will read enough to give your offices a call and make an appointment. For me, I truly do hope that Dr. Vargas and Lacey Modern Dentistry are my forever dental Dr. : )

Staff is very pleasant and always on Time. My hygienist Christina is phenomenal and does an Awesome job. Guided me on each step and made me feel really good and confident. Dr. Wong my Periodontist is the Best. Super caring and efficient. Followed up after my procedure to ensure all was well. I am so happy with her services. Great Customer support. Thank you very much.
